About Me

Hello! And welcome to my website. My name is Pamela Golliet. I have been sewing since I was very young, and still own my mother's old Kenmore sewing machine that I learned on. I started quilting around 1984 when my oldest child was ready for her "big girl bed". I made two pink and purple log cabin quilts, backed them with sheets, added double polyester batting, and hand tied them. Recently, they were given back to me to show my quilt guild as a First quilt. They were so worn and flat. I had discovered longarm quilting over a year before, and decided to give them new life. So I removed the backing and batting, rearranged the blocks of the two quilts to make one big bed sized quilt, put new batting and a new back, and longarmed it. New binding of course finished the quilt. Now it can be used for many more years!

I have been quilting on a longarm for several years, then decided to quilt professionally in 2017. I use an APQS Millennium with computerized Quilt Path. It allows me to make beautiful quilts, and make them for clients as well.

I am also a home birth midwife, a wife, a mother, and grandmother. We are retired Air Force and have lived all over the world. It's been a great life!
